More on ITV documentary: tidbit of new canon!

The Scotsman is reporting today on the surprising access that ITV camera crews had to Rowling as she was writing book 7. Apparently they were actually in the hotel room as she finished the book this January! Some of the footage they filmed that day is quoted, most notably that Jo said to the camera crew:
"Thank you...yeah, you don't know, it might be rubbish. Some people will loathe it, they will absolutely loathe it. For some people to love it, other people must loathe it. That's just in the nature of the plot." She adds, "I'm actually really, really happy with it", before bowing her head on the keyboard to exclaim: "Oh my God!"
Some new canon too: Apparently "Castle Duart on Mull is one of the real-life locations that inspired parts of the Potter saga." Which do you think that is? Hogwarts? Azkaban?

We still have no firm date for this documentary.

hogwarts.
and while youre at it, we have those kind of castle by the thousand in ireland (tower houses), mostly crumbling.
I must hie me to Kilgobbin Castle and look for the muggle aimed "danger, unsafe" signs

a closer match would be Kylemore abbey in Galway (an 18th century castle), that served as a boarding school for girls untill recently. Sadly, it is due to close in the next few years.

Oh my goodness, Kylemore is lovely. But not really in an Hogwartian way, IMHO. The architecture is too rational and serene.
