Heartfelt Rowling book foreword from 2002 now available

AQ reader Sharon Johnson reminded us of the foreword that Jo wrote for a 2002 collection of short stories entitled Magic: New Stories. The book was a fundraiser for one-parent families, so Rowling's beautifully written foreword focuses on her experiences as an impoverished single mother.
